Congratulations to Mark Bruce who beat 2 times winner of
the Thompson Trophy Luke Marshall in the final of
Wykeham's Darts night at the Anglers on Saturday 4th. A
good evening was had by all, with activities in and
outdoors, as snowball fights broke out randomly throughout
the night. Thank you to everyone who attended. |

Wykeham 80's Night

As you will know this is an important time for the club with building projects being high on the agenda. This has considerable financial implications. Match subscriptions form an important part of the income of the club and the committee is determined that this source of finance should be maximised while, at the same time, keeping in mind that this is a club open to everyone and that it should not be an undue financial burden to play for Wykeham. With this in view the subscription/match fee rate for 2012 will be as follows: Senior Members: £3 per game. This covers all games both Saturday and Evening League and Cup games. There is no annual subscription. Junior Players (Those in school years 9.10, 11) Annual subscription of £25, no match fees. Junior Players (Those in School Years 8 or below) Annual subscription £15, no match fees. |
The 80s night made £917.00 all of which will go directly towards the pavilion construction which is scheduled to start by mid-April (we are now potentially less than 2 weeks away from getting planning permission).
We sold £800 of tickets and could easily have sold more. Many thanks for everyone who sold or bought a ticket.
Many thanks also to Gareth who sold over £100 of Bits and Pieces quiz entries. Click to view pictures taken by Gareth Barnard |
