Wykeham did well on Sunday, winning the final game against Scarborough.

Victory in our final game would be a great confidence boost for the season, and also push us up the league table to finish in the top half. The opposition were a man down and were a young team, but Wykeham showed good concentration and bowled out Scarborough for 56. James Bryant showed good consistency with the ball and Jon Stephenson bowled superbly without a single wide in his three overs. Also worth a mention was a heroic catch from Dave Pearson, where the ball was smashed towards the back wall, looking like 6 runs all the way, and from nowhere, Dave ran over and like a man possessed & plucked the ball out of the air.
Kev and Dave opened and although Kev looked a bit dodgy, managed to nock the runs off without the need for our third batsman. It brought our 2005 indoor campaign to an end, and although there will be no medals for anyone, there were some good performances and has given the players involved some good pre season practice.
